What is the Piano Accelerator Program?
The Piano Accelerator Program is designed for adults and teens who are complete beginners. No piano or music experience is needed! Through this program, you will be able to confidently play music, knowing exactly what the notes on the page are and where to place your hands – and be able to play hands together! You will be able to go at your own pace while having the support of a group of learners who are going through the program with you which will help you stay motivated to practice!
By the end of the program, you will have gone through the equivalent of two beginner method books. That means 2 years’ worth of beginner piano instruction in 6 months!
The program is built on The Music Hub’s 5 Pillars:
- Curiosity – learning begins with inspiration and a desire to know. We foster curiosity by sharing amazing music across all genres through our monthly Listening Club.
- Concepts – Musical concepts are broken down into bite-size pieces so you are not overwhelmed but still get all the building blocks you need to understand music and how to play.
- Careful Practice – Music does require practice, but at the beginning you only need 10 minutes a day! You will learn how to effectively plan your practice so you will get the most out of your time!
- Community – Music is meant to be a social activity! Practicing by yourself can get lonely, so we are fostering a community of learners who will encourage one another, celebrate wins, and answer questions!
- Creativity – Music is an art! Yes, playing music is a creative outlet in and of itself, but you can also learn how to create your own music. We incorporate small projects to help you do just that!

- 24-weeks of instruction (not including the 6 free trial lessons)
- Video lessons released every week which include demonstrations on how to play each piece along with instruction on all theory concepts
- All music and theory workbook pages are included
- Community Forum for celebrating wins, getting questions answered, and things like practice challenges (which come with prizes!)
- Weekly “office hours” where you can ask questions, get live demonstrations and socialize with your fellow learners! All office hours will be recorded so you can watch or re-watch later.
- Additional projects that will get your creative juices flowing and introduce you to composition
How much does it cost?
Our Piano Accelerator Program is $997 for the 24-week program.
The average cost for 24 (1hr) private lessons is $1800+ and does not usually include music, office hours, composition, or videos you can re-watch.
